About Travis Rowan Photography

I'm a professional photographer who specializes in travel, landscape, editorial portraits, and architectural photography. I am available for assignments and will travel virtually anywhere.

I've spent much of my life living on and under the ocean so I'm skilled and passionate at photographing large yachts, underwater marine life and surfing as well.

I'm at home "on-location", rather than in the studio. I use lighting and strobes in the field to help create unique images and realize a vision or look.

A brief History:

As a professional photographer, I spent three years covering travel features in Southeast Asia. Using Bangkok, Thailand as a base, I traveled more than six months each year shooting for International and regional publications in Southeast Asia. I've photographed features in places like Myanmar, Bali, Australia, Thailand, Malaysia, Cambodia and the Andaman Islands.

In the past five years, I've dedicated much of my time to surf photography. Please take a look at my other site and blog (mokensurf.com) which showcases my surf photography and ocean images. However all of my surf images are available for licensing on this site.

My work appears in various travel and lifestyle magazines such as: Yachting Monthly (UK), Cruising World (USA), DockWalk, Cambodia-A World of Treasures (Thailand) and Anywhere Magazine (Thai language.) For three years I shot numerous features as the regional photographer for Asia-Pacific Tropical Homes magazine as well as Fah Thai, the in-flight magazine of Bangkok Airways.
